Nohmi FRRU004-CIZM4 Area Monitoring Module
The common zone monitoring module (FRRU004-CIZM4)is used to monitor the status of common initiating devices connected on , Initiating device circuit (IDC). The FRRU004-CIZM4 detects an alarm condition and reports it to the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP). The FRRU004-CIZM4 Modules also supervise the starting device wiring (wires A+, A-, B+ and B-) and wiring for the power connected to terminals 24+ and 24- for output open circuit current ,
IDC wiring pattern is applicable to NFPA Class B (Type B) & Class A (Type D). When the FRRU004-CIZM4 Module detects an alarm, the module is latched until the system resets. When the FRRU004-CIZM4 module is used with Wiring Condition Class A (Type D) and an open circuit is detected on the wire of the IDC and the power is connected to terminals 24+ and 24-, the module is is also latched until the system resets.
