Inline balanced pressure foam equalizer used with an actively concentrated foam supply pump Precise control system of foam flow concentrates water over a wide range of flow rates and Pressure.
The in-line balanced pressure foam equalizer is used with the pump that supplies the actively concentrated foam. Precise foam control system focuses on water flow over a wide range of flow rates and pressures. The inline pressure foam equalization system is used to operate multiple foam injections simultaneously even with different pressures between the two injection points with a single concentrate supply line. Various sizes of inline equalizer pressure equalizers can be combined to suit the flow requirements of each hazardous area.
The in-line balanced pressure equalization system utilizes a single active concentrated foam supply pump, an atmospheric foam concentrate tank, an inline equalizer, and a concentrated foam damper. The pressure regulating valve is mounted on the foam return line centered on the foam concentrate tank. Pressure regulating valve provides concentrated foam.
The Inline Pressure Equalizer consists of a proportional controller, a diaphragm operated pressure balance valve, water and foam gauges, and a teflon pressure sensing hose with stainless steel housing, cutting fittings linked to various control and discharge valves. Water inlet pressure and foam concentrate pressure at the metering orifice are sensed by the diaphragm valve and it automatically balances the concentrate supply to provide a precisely balanced foam solution under a wide range of conditions flow. A centralized foam supply valve is also offered as an optional item. The system requires a concentrated foam supply pressure of 1.5 - 2.0 bar. higher than the water supply pressure. The in-line leveling pressure equalizer is also provided with a manual balancing valve
