The Kitemark/LPCB Standard Naffco Semi Rigid Fire Hose provides a very efficient fire fighting facility with a continuous supply of water available immediately. The construction and performance of a fire hydrant reel with a semi-rigid hose ensures a suitable installation in buildings and other construction sites for the user to use. Fire hose hoses are manufactured in both manual and automatic versions to comply with BS EN 671-1:2012 with semi-rigid hose compliant with BSEN 694: 2014.

Description of Kitemark/LPCB Standard Naffco Semi Rigid Faucet
- BSI Kitemark and LPCB certified.
- Fire hose reels capable of rotating in a single plane (fixed type) or rotating in multiple planes with mounting on one of the following: swing arm, swivel hose or swing door in manual and automatic versions motion.
- The automatic fire hose reels will open fully within 3 revolutions of the spindle.
- Faucet with SHUT, JET and SPRING control settings
- The minimum flow rate of hose reels in JET and SPRING settings is 41 L/MIN. at a pressure of 0.6 MPa (6 bar)
- Installation in chrome plated faucet is 53Lpm at 0.6 Mpa (6 bar).
- The effective throw range of discharge at a pressure of 0.2 MPa (2 bar) is 10 mtrs. in JET settings.
- The reel discs are painted RED with printed instructions for using the label.
Automatic Pipe Reel Operation Manual - Unplug the faucet and then the water flow will start within 3 revolutions.
- Open the nozzle, adjust to spray or jet as required.
- Target the nozzle at the base of the fire.
- After use, close the hose and rewind the hose, making sure it is properly wound around the hose reel (do not overlap the side panels). Open the faucet to drain water the faucet and then close the faucet when done.
How to use the spool
- Open the main valve fully.
- Unplug the faucet.
- Open the nozzle, adjust to spray or jet as required.
- Target the nozzle at the base of the fire.
- After use, close the faucet, turn off the main valve, rewind the faucet, making sure it is properly wound around the hose reel (do not press on the side panels). Open the faucet to drain water the faucet and then close the faucet when done.
