Around 3:20 p.m. on June 19, a fire broke out at the house at 88 Hang Khoai, Hang Ma ward, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi. The smoke covered and spread to the adjacent houses, causing many people to panic.
As noted by reporters at the scene, the fire broke out in the second floor area of the building. Fire engulfed the entire area and smoke spread towards the balcony. The first floor of the building sells pots, pans, etc. and when the fire broke out, the owner did not know. Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang, a passerby participating in extinguishing the fire said that some people saw smoke coming out of the house, at first it was just a small smoke spreading from the 2nd floor of the building, but only 5 minutes later the smoke started. spread to neighboring houses, causing many people to panic. At that time, a number of new people called to notify the homeowner and alert the fire department. Immediately after receiving the news, the Hanoi Fire Department was present at the scene to fight the fire. At least two fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the fire. By 4:00 p.m. the same day, the fire was under control. No property damage has been reported yet, and no human casualties have been reported. Cause of the fire is being clarified.
