The VAJRA 433 Water Spray Gun, manufactured in corrosion-resistant copper, is a durable manual control display for permanent installation as well as trailer mounting. Guns are commonly used to protect flammable liquid storage tanks, load racks, seawalls and many other industrial applications. The VAJRA 433 Water Spray Gun has a number of design features that make it easy to operate, minimal maintenance, and resistant to corrosive environments. The gun is intended for use with sprinklers, non-aspirators and sprinklers with flow ranges up to 2000 GPM (7570 LPM).
The VAJRA 433 Water Spray Gun features a sturdy, corrosion-resistant cast bronze construction. Vertical and horizontal rotation is through corrosion-resistant brass swivel joints with two rows of stainless steel ball bearings. Both vertical and horizontal movements are controlled by a crank that is fully driven by a worm gear and protected the elements. The gun has a high flow capacity and can be manually operated by a single firefighting aircraft. The design ensures that counter-reaction forces are prevented affecting the horizontal and vertical position of the screen. No counterbalance is required to compensate for the weight of the nozzle.
The VAJRA 433 Water Spray Gun is capable of 360 degrees. Continuous horizontal rotation and elevation angle is 90 degrees. above horizontal and 65 degrees. below is horizontal. The water valves in the exhaust manifold reduce turbulence and loss of friction, thus increasing nozzle efficiency to achieve greater range. To ensure the desired performance, the friction loss through the screen must be considered while selecting the nozzle and the flow through the screen with reference to the base pressure available at the inlet of the gun.
