Description of HD Fire MG 413 Carbon Steel Water Spray Gun
Durable manual control HD Fire MG 413 Carbon Steel Water Gun for fixed installation as well as trailer mount, used to protect flammable liquid tanks, load racks, seawalls and many other industrial applications. Has a number of design features for ease of operation, minimal maintenance and resistance to common destructive environments.
The HD Fire MG 413 Carbon Steel Water Spray Gun is for use with sprinklers, non-aspirators and sprinklers with flow ranges up to 1250 GPM (4730 LPM), welded in 4-inch (100 MM) carbon steel. All steel parts are hot-dip galvanized and epoxy painted for excellent corrosion resistance. Vertical and horizontal rotation is through corrosion-resistant brass swivel joints with two rows of stainless steel ball bearings. Both vertical and horizontal movements are controlled by a steering wheel that is fully driven by a worm gear and protected the elements.
The HD Fire MG 413 Carbon Steel Water Gun has a high flow capacity and can be manually operated by a single firefighting aircraft. The design ensures that counter-reaction forces are prevented affecting the horizontal and vertical position of the screen. No counterbalance is required to compensate for the weight of the nozzle. The screen is 360-degree capable. Continuous horizontal rotation and elevation angle 90 degrees. up to 45 degrees. below is horizontal. The water valves in the exhaust manifold reduce turbulence and loss of friction thus increasing nozzle efficiency to achieve greater range. To ensure desired performance, friction loss through the gun must be considered while selecting the nozzle and flow through the display with reference to the base pressure available at the inlet of the HD Fire Carbon Steel Water Gun.
