Durable manual-operated M 311 Flamethrower Spray Gun for fixed installation as well as trailer mount. Commonly used to protect flammable liquid storage tanks, load racks, seawalls and many other industrial applications. The monitor has a number of design features that make it easy to operate, minimal maintenance, and resistant to common destructive environments. The M 311 Fire Extinguisher Spray Gun is for use with sprinklers, non-aspirators and sprinklers with flow ranges up to 800 GPM (3030 LPM). 3 inch (80 MM) carbon steel construction. All steel parts are hot-dip galvanized and epoxy painted for excellent corrosion resistance. Vertical and horizontal rotation is through corrosion-resistant swivel joints with two rows of stainless steel ball bearings. Both vertical and horizontal movements are controlled by the handle and twist lock.
The M 311 Fire Extinguisher is capable of high flow rates and can be operated manually by a single firefighter. The design ensures that counter-reaction forces are prevented affecting the horizontal and vertical position of the screen. The gun is capable of 360-degree continuous horizontal rotation and +90-degree high angle. above horizontal and -45 degrees. below is horizontal. The water valves in the exhaust manifold reduce turbulence and loss of friction thus increasing nozzle efficiency to achieve greater range.
