Application of HD Fire BV & BV-S Foam Concentrate Control Valve,Foam Fire Extinguishing System
Concentrated foam bypass valves are used in pressure-balanced foam-balanced slide systems. The valve bypasses the controlled excess foam to concentrate the tank.
Specifications Control Valve Foam Concentrate HD Fire BV & BV-S,Foam Fire Extinguishing System
The valve is operated and operated according to the simple differential pressure principle. The pressure sensing lines, one the proportional controller inlet for water pressure and the other the supply pressure concentrated above the metering hole are connected to the bypass valve. The bypass valve automatically adjusts the concentrate pressure in proportion to the water pressure. Bypasses are provided with relief valves. The pressure sensor hose is Teflon with a stainless steel housing and it is permanently mounted with a swivel coupling. Two separate pressure gauges, one for water and one for foam concentrate are provided with valve valves. One duplex gauge is offered as an optional item in lieu of two pressure gauges. Each valve is factory tested for its performance.
How to check and maintain
A qualified and trained person must commission the system. After several initial successful tests, an authorized person must be trained to perform system testing and testing. Do not turn off the system or any valves to repair or inspect the system, without placing the Mobile Fire Extinguisher in an area protected by the system. Patrols should continue until the system is back up and running. Also notify the local security guard and control alarm station, to avoid false alarm. A physical check of the system should be performed at least once a week. The inspection should verify that all control valves are in the proper position as required by the system and that no damage has occurred to any components. Valves must be operated periodically and proper functioning must be verified. The tests shall follow the system test procedure. The system must be drained after each operation and free flow of water must be withdrawn the discharge connection. It is the user's responsibility to maintain the valve in proper operating condition.
