Description :Duct-mounted smoke detector DET-DDH-02
- HVAC systems provide conditioned air to virtually every part of the building. Any smoke introduced this ductwork is thus propagated throughout the building.
- Smoke detector: DET-DDH-02: Duct housing is designed so that the sample of air passing through the duct is continuously monitored by the Smoke Detector inside. When sufficient smoke is sensed, a signal alarm is initiated at the Fire Alarm Control Panel that monitors the detector and appropriate action can be taken to turn off fans and blowers and change the air handling system etc. This can isolate toxic fumes and combustible gases or prevent them being distributed throughout the areas served by
