The Drencher Protector HD fire HD103 & HD203 Nozzle HD Horizontal Orientation is a small, heat-resistant glass nozzle that is available in a number of different finishes and temperature ratings to meet design requirements. Sprinkler is UL listed and FM approved. During combustion, the heat-sensitive liquid in the bulb expands, causing the bulb to burst. Water flowing through the sprinkler hole strikes the sprinkler deflector, forming a uniform spray pattern to control or extinguish the fire. Horizontal sprinklers are designed to be installed along walls or edges of beams and directly under smooth ceilings.
