In practical terms, the Frese OPTIMA Compact ensures that there is no overflow and that under the design line the actuator has absolute authority. Furthermore, the Frese OPTIMA Compact combines all the features needed to ease the work of designers and installers:
- Wide differential pressure range (up to 800kPa) meets the requirements of most applications Compact design and user-friendly installation unit ensure easy installation and operation. Frese OPTIMA Compact Pressure Independent Control Valve (PICV) is used in heating and cooling systems with fan coil units, cold beam or other terminal applications. The Frese OPTIMA Compact provides modulated control with full control over any system differential pressure fluctuations. It incorporates an externally adjustable automatic balancing valve, differential pressure control valve and full control valve. 100% control of the water flow in the building is achieved with ease, while providing comfort and high energy savings at the same time. An additional benefit is that no balancing is required if further stages are added to the system, or if the capacity dimensions are changed.
