Construction method:
To install the system's lightning protection devices for projects with small areas from a few tens to a few hundred square meters with typical traditional roofs as shown, we can install according to the following method:

- The height of the lightning arrester can be several centimeters or more depending on the material of the lightning arrester. Have a diameter of phi 16 or larger.
- Connecting wire: connecting from the roof to the tops of the roof, fixed with clamps or expansion screws, attached directly to the outermost part of the building.
Note:
- For houses with roofs made of flammable materials such as leaf roofs, straw roofs... it is required to install lightning protection devices such as lightning rods, and the wires for the house must have an isolation distance. Safe for roof surfaces.
- Materials used to isolate the roof can be used with bamboo or wooden poles...
- Choose to use solid wire material with a diameter of 8mm or larger.
- Fix lightning rods and insulation material bars with steel wire to the roof trusses and beams. Secure the wire with retaining straps and stainless steel clamps to ensure it is secure
. - Minimum isolation distance between lightning protection devices: between the lightning collector and the top of the roof is 0.6m, between the lightning conductor and the roof surface is 0.4m and 0.15m below the roof base.
- When using this isolation method, you need to be careful because the supporting columns made of bamboo and wood are exposed to the sun and rain without any protection. Over time, they will degrade, making it unsafe for users as well as people. like construction, so these support columns must be regularly checked to see if they are safe or not to promptly replace them.
Rolling ball method:
This method is used to identify unprotected parts of tall structures with complex designs. This method is built by rolling an imaginary ball with a certain radius across the entire wall surface surrounding the building when it comes into contact with the wall surface that can create lightning strikes and these locations You must choose a method of installing a lightning arrester system with the number and size of lightning protection devices appropriate to the shape of the roof surface to ensure building safety.
