It is known that this strange insect has the scientific name Lasius Neglectus. They were first found in England in 2009, when up to 35,000 individuals were discovered. Based on some initial observations, they most likely belong to the fire ant genus.

- Basically, they have a shape quite similar to regular black ants. Each Lasius Neglectus ant is only 3 - 6mm long, so it is very difficult to detect them. Besides, they also have the habit of gathering and living in groups rather than living separately. Because they have an aggressive nature and like to nest in areas with sockets or electrical cables, they are completely capable of causing power outages and, more dangerously, house fires.

- In recent years, the number of Lasius Neglectus ants has begun to show signs of increasing sharply in Europe. However, their existence causes many inconveniences to the lives of people as well as the ecosystem in these countries. In addition, they also have a great influence on the development of the British economy. According to statistics, each year the Lasius Neglectus ants cause a loss of up to 1.7 billion pounds (nearly 50,000 billion VND) in the country's budget.
