Detailed description of the addressable isolation module Bosch FLM-7024-ISO
The MUM bus isolation module FLM-7024-ISO is located between the devices on the MUX bus. A short on the trigger buscauses of the isolator is adjacent to eitherside of the short. This effectively separates all devices between the activated isolators the rest of the bus. This prevents failure of the entire bus. When the short condition is removed, the isolators will automatically restore the entire loop to normal operation.
