Big fire in the garage of Vietnam National University Hanoi
At about 16:15, a big fire broke out in the parking lot of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, causing 5 motorbikes to burn down.
Initial information, the fire occurred around 4 pm on July 1 in the parking area of Hanoi National University (Cau Giay district, Hanoi). Some people present at the scene said that at that time they heard an explosion in the parking area. Followed by a plume of smoke. Minutes later, flames engulfed 5 motorbikes. The incident was reported to the Fire Department. A few minutes later, three fire engines were dispatched to the scene to put out the fire. Security forces and functional forces moved other vehicles outside to prevent the fire from spreading. Not long after, the fire was brought under control and extinguished.
The fire occurred at the right time when the candidates for the National High School Exam in this cluster started to step out of the exam room, causing many parents, students and school officials to panic. At the scene, 5 motorbikes were burned. The incident caused no loss of life. Some people said that the above 5 cars belonged to lecturers working at Hanoi National University. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
