VSH1230, UL/FM Standard Viking Clean Air Fire Extinguishing System uses 3M™ Novec 1230™ flame retardant liquid that will not damage electronics and leave no residue. The high safety margin makes it extremely safe for people working in protected areas. With an ozone depletion potential of 0.0, an atmospheric lifetime of only five days, and a global warming potential of 1.0, the VSH1230 system is a long-term replacement for Halon.
High pressure means smaller tank and less floor space. The 725 psi system allows for longer pipeline runs, smaller pipe sizes, remote tank location, and multi-zone protection a single trigger. VSH1230, the only Viking UL/FM Novec™ 1230 Clean Gas Fire Extinguishing System approved for use with selector valves, Viking offers the cost savings and system flexibility to protect large areas.

2. Clean gas fire extinguisher
The Viking VSH1230 fire suppression system uses 3M™ Novec™ 1230 extinguishing fluid which is stored in the system's extinguishant tank(s) until the system is activated.

3. System fire extinguishing agent VSH1230
The Viking VSH1230 fire suppression system uses 3MTM NovecTM 1230 fluid, which is a next generation alternative to Halon. VSH1230 is used to protect the contents of areas containing valuable equipment or documents, including, but not limited to Museums, Banks, Cleanrooms, Data Centers, and Libraries. NovecTM 1230 leaves no residue behind, does not suffer ozone depletion and has the lowest atmospheric life for halocarbon substitutes. NovecTM 1230 extinguishes fires by absorbing heat. The VSH1230 results in less time, less cleanup, less business disruption and eco-friendly.

4.VSH1230 System Clean Air Nozzle
In the VSH1230 Fire Extinguisher System, the discharge nozzle is used to apply the extinguishing agent during a calculated flooding period and uniformly distributed in the protected housing. Two types of nozzles are available for the VSH1230 Fire Extinguishing System:
180° nozzle sprays extinguishant in a semicircle around the nozzle
The 360° nozzle sprays the extinguishing agent in a full circle around the nozzle
