VK194:K 5.6 Quick Response Drying Nozzle is a heat resistant sprinkler suitable for use in freezing areas. The nozzles are designed for dry systems and containment systems where it is necessary to prevent water or condensate entering the drop nipple prior to sprinkler operation.
Can be installed in frozen spaces and powered a wet system in an adjacent heated area. Pre-assembled dry sprinkler with a thread adapter for installation with a dome cap that provides up to ½” (12.7 mm) of vertical adjustment. The push-pull, threaded covers only slide under the ceiling to allow the sprinkler to be installed prior to ceiling construction. Viking Quick Response Dry Sprinkler Prinklers are available in various finishes and temperature ratings to meet design requirements.
