VK158 : Standard Response Dry Sprinklers are heat sensitive sprinklers suitable for use in areas subject to freezing. Designed for dry systems and containment systems where it is necessary to prevent water or condensation entering the drop nipple prior to sprinkler operation. They can also be installed in frozen spaces and supplied wet systems in adjacent heated areas. Viking Standard Dry Sprinklers are available in various finishes and temperature ratings to meet design requirements. Special Polyester and Electroless Nickel PTFE (ENT) coatings have been developed for installation in corrosive environments and are listed/approved as indicated on the approval chart.

- Maximum working pressure: 175 psi (12 bar). Factory tested pneumatically to 100 psi (6.89 bar) Thread size: 1 NPT or 25 mm - BSPNominal K-Factor: 5.6 US (80.6 meters) for all listed and approved lengths.
- Bulb fluid temperature rated to -65°F (-55°C) Covered by the following US Patents: 8,636,075 - CULus listing, FM approval and NFPA 13 installations require a minimum of 7 psi (0.5 bar). Minimum operating pressure for LPCB and CE approval ONLY is 5 psi (0.35 bar).
