SOC-E3NM, Hochiki marine optical smoke detector
The SOC-E3NM is a Marine Approved Photoelectric Smoke Detector compatible with the majority of conventional marine systems available. The SOC-E3NM incorporates Ho Chi Minh's unique high-performance photoelectric smoke chamber, eliminating the need to use an Ionization Detector in most applications. Technology ASWV's drift compensation technology is incorporated to ensure the Detector operates at optimal sensitivity and thus reduces potential false alarms. If the contamination limit is exceeded, the built-in red LED will flash every three seconds to provide a visual warning. The smoke chamber is easily removed or replaced for cleaning and uses a unique baffle design that allows smoke to enter the chamber while keeping the ambient light.
