Optical smoke detectors commonly used for hazardous environments SLR-E-IS is designed for use in areas prone to fire and explosion such as in chemical and petroleum warehouses. The detector is also integrated with an output to attach a room indicator light and the smoke chamber is also designed to be disassembled for convenient cleaning and maintenance. Each detector is integrated with Hochiki's unique advanced smoke chamber technology, ensuring high sensitivity, suitable for replacing detectors using old ION technology that cause environmental hazards. This new smoke chamber also helps to increase the alarm threshold of the detector, allowing to limit signal interference and reduce false fire alarms.
