The Rapidrop Sprinkler RD022 SSP is a standard, reactive, automatic bulb automatic sprinkler. CE marked, VdS, LPCB, FM approved and UL listed. They are standard fire sprinklers for installation in fire sprinkler systems designed according to the standard installation rule: EN12845 or the requirements of the competent authority. Independent sprinklers create a hemispherical water distribution pattern below the deflector. Under fire conditions, the heat causes the liquid in the bulb to expand, shattering the glass and releasing the spring assembly. Water flows the hole the sprinkler deflector which diffuses the water a uniform spray pattern to extinguish or control the fire.
