The Rapidrop HV-AS High Speed Open Nozzle is an internally vortex opening nozzle designed for use in fixed sprinkler systems or deluge systems for fire protection applications. This nozzle generates solid uniform and dense core of high speed water jet to realize fire control. Commonly used for surface cooling as well as for quenching. Commonly used to protect Deluge against special hazards such as oil-filled transformers, switchgear, chemical process equipment, conveyor systems and flammable liquid storage areas. The minimum desired pressure to achieve a reasonable spray pattern is 3.5 Kg./sq.cm. (50 psi).
