DynaShield® ADSc Surge Suppression
ALLTEC’s fully-featured ADSc models are high-performance surge protectors designed specifically for critical panel locations. The ADSc incorporates high-energy MOVs with the best performing EMI filter on the market to protect against transients originating induced lightning strikes, utility switching, and facility power noise.
LED fault indicators for each phase provide real-time diagnostics. Options include alarm with red LED and dual Form C dry contacts for remote indication and an audible alarm.
The ADSc Series is available for all voltages and configurations up to 600V. Housed in a rugged NEMA 12 enclosure, these devices are suitable for indoor applications.

DynaShield Applications
- The second tier of protection diminishes the significance of random high-energy, short-duration electrical power transients through properly installed surge protective devices. These occurrences are typically caused by atmospheric phenomena (such as lightning strikes), utility switching, inductive loads, and internally generated overvoltages.
- You can view typical installation locations in the application maps to the right by locating the numbers 5 and 6.
