The VK490 Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler is a small, highly sensitive welded joint and residential sprinkler designed for installation on concealed piping systems where visibility is required. appearance of a smooth wall. The VK490 Concealed Residential Nozzle is hidden view by a small diameter visor installed the wall. The cover plates are available in a number of decorative finishes to meet design requirements. The two-piece design allows the sprinkler to be installed and tested before the visor is installed. Once the system has been tested and a wall finish has been applied, the push-up design of the visor assembly allows for easy mounting of the cover plate with an adjustment up to 1/4 1/4 (6.4 mm). The VK490 sprinkler is provided with a piping guide to properly position the nozzle and to allow 1/4 adjustment of the cover plate.
