CHQ-DZM (SCI) -IS, Hochiki Area Monitoring Module with SCI
Model CHQ-DZM (SCI) -IS is a Dual Area Module fully compatible with Hochiki's ESP analog addressing protocol and IS device It is offered as an OEM version (as illustrated in Fig. ) can be fitted in an IP67 rated enclosure.
The unit is also available as a DIN DIN mounting module; both models have a built-in short-circuit isolator. Addressing is done through simple DIL switches. This unit is designed to allow up to 40 (20 per zone) conventional CDX IS range detectors (SLR-E-IS or DCD-1E-IS) in hazardous areas to be interfaced with the navigation system. Similar address to Ho Chi Minh's ESP in safe area . (Please note that this module should only be installed in a safe area). Conventional zones on CHQ-DZM (SCI)-IS do not support any line continuity options, so if Call Points are being interposed, they should be wired at the top of the zone.
