Model ALN-EN / SIL is an Analog Optical Smoke Sensor, independently evaluated and approved for use in SIL2 safety function for low demand associated with low failure rate The ALN-EN/SIL incorporates Hochiki's latest high-performance chamber technology eliminating the need for an ionizing smoke sensor in the majority of applications. This also allows to increase the sensor threshold, thereby improving the signal-to-noise ratio and reducing sensitivity to false alarms. The ALN-EN/SIL smoke chamber is easily removed or replaced for cleaning and uses a unique innovative baffle design that allows smoke to enter the chamber
