The ALN-EN (SCI) incorporates Hochiki's latest High Performance Chamber Technology eliminating the need to use Ionization smoke sensors in the majority of applications. This also allows to increase the sensing threshold, thereby improving the signal-to-noise ratio and reducing sensitivity to false alarms. To maintain SCI functionality, this sensor requires a YBV-R/4 mounting base.
