- Can only be installed where approved by the competent authority
- Not Accepted in FM Insured Property Model GPL + GLU Limited Service Electric Fire Pump Controller with Automatic Transfer Switch
- Necessary if normal strength is not reliable
- Located in a fenced compartment or in a separate enclosure attached to the fire pump controller
- Listed and approved for fire pump service
- Equipped with a push button TEST switch
