Raise people's awareness for effective fire prevention and fighting
- Dong Nam Fire Protection Company - House fire is a hazard that causes property damage and human life. But our people are still negligent about fire prevention awareness. To avoid unfortunate incidents, people need to be equipped with knowledge about fire prevention and fighting as well as learn about fire fighting equipment such as: CO2 fire extinguishers, powder fire extinguishers,... to handle force majeure situations that occur.
- To be proactive in prevention work, create more positive changes in ensuring fire safety, and at the same time contribute to ensuring general security and order in Da Nang city according to the guiding spirit in Official Dispatch No. 847/UBND-NCPC dated February 18, 2012, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang city on implementing the conclusions of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the 10th Summary Conference year of implementing the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and Directive of the Da Nang City Party Committee No. 20-CT/TU dated April 26, 2012 on strengthening leadership in fire prevention, fighting and rescue. - On May 8, 2012, the Director of the Department of Transport of Da Nang City issued Directive Document No. 936/SGTVT-VP requesting units under the Department to continue implementing a number of tasks. Key tasks for fire prevention and fighting in the coming time are as follows:
1. Continue to propagate and disseminate the Law on fire prevention and fighting to each small group such as: Teams, Teams, sections, divisions and departments in each unit, creating a change in awareness, consciousness and the sense of responsibility of each CCVC-LD employee, through which everyone can grasp the basic knowledge of fire prevention and fighting to prevent their own places where they live and work, and respond quickly when a fire incident occurs; contributing to the fight to control fires and damage caused by fires and explosions.
2. Based on the characteristics and general situation of each grassroots unit, leaders propose appropriate measures to contribute to the consolidation of forces, means, and fire prevention techniques to further strengthen prevention and control. Prevent fire and explosion from occurring in the near future.
3. Review and develop additional on-site fire prevention and fighting plans to suit the actual situation at the unit, submit to competent authorities for approval, check equipped fire-fighting equipment and means, and preservation regime , periodic maintenance and additional equipment as required. Amend and supplement rules, regulations, and procedures on fire prevention and fighting to suit actual conditions, and immediately correct loopholes and shortcomings.
4. Units need to coordinate with the Fire Police to guide safety measures on fire prevention, escape, rescue... through practical activities such as organizing training and demonstrations. practice and train fire prevention and fighting skills, organize and coordinate the implementation of fire prevention and fighting plans; Check compliance with fire prevention and fighting laws, organize coordination when fire or explosion incidents occur.
5. Pay attention to production areas, factories, warehouses, especially areas containing flammable and explosive fuels, and areas where supplies and materials are gathered in bridge and road construction projects; Warehouses need to ensure there are emergency exits, ventilation, vacuuming, lighting systems, and lightning protection systems; Ensuring environmental hygiene…
6. Units continue to consolidate and strengthen Fire Prevention and Fighting Teams in sufficient numbers and organize training in fire prevention and fighting skills and operations according to the 4 on-site motto (On-site force, on-site command, on-site vehicles, on-site logistics); Regularly and effectively implement fire safety solutions at the facility according to regulations. Organize firefighting drills in key areas at the unit.
7. Heads of units direct the organization of inspections to propose measures to overcome loopholes and shortcomings, and promptly supplement deficiencies in solutions to ensure fire safety and prevention, in order to complete Complete tasks in all situations when fire or explosion occurs.
