Description of HD Fire Extinguisher HSW Horizontal HD243
The HD243 Horizontal HSW Fire Extinguisher is a small, heat-resistant glass spray nozzle available as a quick-response type in temperature ratings to meet design requirements. Sprinkler is UL listed. During combustion, the heat-sensitive liquid in the bulb expands, causing the bulb to burst. The water flowing through the sprinkler hole strikes the sprinkler deflector, forming a uniform spray pattern to control or extinguish the fire. Horizontal sprinklers are designed to be installed along walls or edges of beams and directly under smooth ceilings. Spinkler can also be installed with two-piece Recutch Ecutcheon.
