Description
The GST Voice Evacuation System (GST-VES) is used for emergency voice announcements to people inside the building. The system works when a freedom condition is detected, requiring people to evacuate the building. GST-VES equipment meets National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and is UL listed. Complete with microphone, amplifiers and speakers, the building manager or department freely locks the microphone and broadcasts instructions during an emergency. The GST-VES system consists of one GST-MP table and several GST-DP tables. The GST-MP Main Control Panel works in conjunction with the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) in the building to provide automatic response to life safety emergencies. The GST-MP includes all the features needed to provide an effective voice evacuation system. The GST-MP can be customized to meet the needs of any high-rise application. System GST-MP includes capacity for 6 simultaneous audio channels. This provides for evacuation, spot warnings or other public address announcements, and automated messages. Distribution table The GST-DP is connected to the GST-MP in a voice evacuation system, receiving voice commands and signals the GST-MP, amplifying, and to provide a 25V or 70V audio source directly to the speaker. GST- The DP can be set to alarm control room free mode or distributed across oors in a building closer to the loudspeaker.
