AFFF LAGO V3F Fire Foaming Agent
LAGO V3F is an AFFF fire-fighting foaming agent made fluorine-containing surfactants and hydrocarbon-based surfactants along with many other solvents. LAGO V3F requires relatively low energy to form the foam, and the solution the foam is capable of forming a film on most hydrocarbon material surfaces. This membrane separates the fuel oxygen and prevents evaporation of the fuel. The water in the foam solution also has a cooling effect. The LAGO V3F is suitable for use with saltwater, fresh water and brackish water at a mixing ratio of 3%. Foam solutions can also be stored and used in fire extinguishing systems.
